ARCOS was founded in 1734 with the creation of its first pair of scissors by Juan de Arcos, which is now preserved at the Albacete Cutlery Museum. In 1875, Gregorio Arcos Aroca transformed a small workshop into a factory for the serial production of knives, laying the foundations for the brand’s industrial growth. A century later, Gregorio Arcos Villanueva led ARCOS’s international expansion.
Today, ARCOS is present in more than 70 countries worldwide, manufacturing all its products in Spain and producing around 11 million knives each year, reaffirming its position as a prestigious and long-established family-owned brand.
